What to Expect
The Beekeeping Suit-Up:
Guides will provide and help you put on a full-body protective bee suit, complete with a veil and gloves.
Live Hive Inspection:
You will approach active hives, light a gentle smoker to calm the bees, and safely open a box to view the queen, workers, and drones in action.
Educational Lesson:
Learn about honey bee biology, the critical role pollinators play in the ecosystem, and how hives are managed year-round.
Honey Tasting:
Sample fresh, raw, and unfiltered honey directly from the comb to experience the unique floral notes of the local area. [ 1
